Toby McGrath

Political Director

Toby McGrath is Maine Street Solutions’ Political Director. He is responsible for running grass roots and grass tops lobbying as well as serving as a general consultant to initiative, referendum and political campaigns.

Toby most recently served as the Associate Administrator overseeing national field operations of the Small Business Administration (SBA) in Washington, D.C.  Toby previously served as Maine Campaign Manager for Obama for America. Prior to his role on the Obama campaign, Toby served as Chief of Staff to Speaker of the Maine House Glenn Cummings. Toby also served as Chief of Staff to Rep. Cummings in the Majority Office.

Toby is a graduate of Bowdoin College and lives in Brunswick with his wife Molly and son Jonas.
