Sara Vanderwood is the newest member of the Maine Street Solutions team. Sara comes to MSS from the Senate Republican Office where she served as Chief of Staff during the past year. Majority Leader Courtney praised Sara as, “an integral part in many of our accomplishments this past session” and as a “loyal friend to all of us in the Senate and to the Republican Party.” She is a well-known and well respected part of the team that engineered the recent Republican victories in the Maine Legislature, and will be an excellent addition to MSS’ lobbying and political efforts at the state and federal level.

When she is not winning elections, Sara spends much of her time mushing her sled dog team, running cross-country, and bike riding in the back Maine woods with her husband and son.
