Dana Stanley

Director, Market Research & New Media

Dana Stanley is an affiliate of MSS. Dana serves as the Director of Market Research & New Media for Maine Street Solutions and President of The Operandi Group, a research and new media division of Maine Street Solutions.

Based in the Portland office, Dana is a veteran survey researcher with a special expertise in Internet ethodologies. He began his career as a campaign and U.S. Senate aide to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA). He learned the art and science of surveys and focus groups from nationally known pollsters Mark Mellman and Celinda Lake, and then served a leadership role in political research efforts at AFSCME International in Washington.

More recently, Dana has developed a special expertise in Internet research and communications strategies working for pioneering Internet research companies Greenfield Online and Research Now.  Dana has studied at the Joint Program in Survey Methodology at the University of Maryland and he trained as a focus group moderator at RIVA Market Research in Bethesda, Maryland.  A native of Old Town and a graduate of Bowdoin College, Dana lives in Cape Elizabeth with his wife, Amy, and his children Ben, Jonathan and Ella.
